Work Submission Policy

Digital photos: Digital photos must be submitted at a minimum resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels and in jpeg format. Photographers are not permitted to place borders or frames around their images or to place watermarks, signatures, dates, or copyright notices on their images.

High Dynamic Range images (HDR)- The management of wishes to promote photography and believes HDR is a valid photographic technique that overcomes the exposure range limitations of today's digital camera technology. Hence, HDR images will accepted.


Multiple Entries: Contestants are permitted and welcome to submit multiple entries. Multiple images of the same object, event or area by the same photographer should be labeled as such: Ganesh1.JohnSmith.jpg, Ganesh2.JohnSmith.jpg, Ganesh3.JohnSmith.jpg

Naming the Image Files: Digital images submitted with numeric filenames will be disqualified but may still be displayed in the entries. It is necessary that each filename identify who took the photograph and what it is about. Example: ?ahakumbh.MorganNorman.jpg?or ?urgaStatute.GMBAkash.jpg?br /> E-mailing Images: Photos may be e-mailed to and must include the following details: Photographer? Name, Subject of the Photograph, Title of the Photograph and year the image was captured (optional). Please do not send more than three images per email.

Deadline: Submissions must be sent by the 4th of every month to be considered for awards in that particular month.


Images will be judged on their effectiveness in conveying the uniqueness of the subject matter, technical expertise, composition, creativity and ability to capture the spiritual renewal, humanities need/desire/compulsion to connect with divinity, faith, and spiritual healing.

If insufficient entries are received for any particular contest, the Management of MyPuja reserves the right to not give an award in that contest. This is at the sole discretion of the contest judges. Winners will be announced on or after the 10th of every subsequent month. The winners will receive prizes from the Management of MyPuja - see website for updates. In addition, the winning photos will be separately showcased on MyPuja and its promotional or partner network and locations physical and/or digital.


The Management of MyPuja reserves the right to discard, disqualify or delete any submitted photo.

By uploading photos, you agree that such photos may be displayed on any part of this web site, and may be used for the promotion of MyPuja the course of its business without payment to the photographer. The copyright of the photo will always remain with the photographer.

MyPuja and its owners or staff will not be held responsible for any photos lost in transmission, or in storage on its servers. It is recommended that entrants keep a backup of all photos entered for safe keeping.

MyPuja reserves the right to modify, change, add or make amendments to any or all guidelines or rules of competition, without prior notification to the entrants at any time.

MyPuja may ban any entrant who in its opinion does not comply with the guidelines from future entries.

Awards and/or Prizes are non-transferable to other people and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Management of MyPuja reserves the right to change the prize, should a sponsor be unable to deliver the prize nominated.

The decisions of the judge/s are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
